I've been checking out the site for about 2 weeks after I found a speaker repair right-up for my 04 kj. I only have a few more payments left on it so I've decided to start building it up (all because of a speaker repair). I also have a cj-7 so seeing this site has made me feel more comfortable about wheeling my KJ.

Welcome. Don't be afraid of it. The KJ is more capable off-road than people give it credit for. I have been strapped out of "respectable places"....haha I also pulled a stuck locked and lifted, and super-swamper wearing jeep out of the mud one time.

Mine gets used off-road. It has a little light trail rash I need to take care of and a bent rock rail. Right now it is all mud and my skids are packed with mud and debris and I need to spend a couple of days cleaning it all out from a run last Sunday but it has been raining here for 3 days so it will have to stay all muddy for now.

But we can help you spend your jeep money....:D

Thanks for teh welcomes.

I've known my KJ was quite capable of handling lots of the wheeling I do, I've just never committed to upgrading it for more wheeling. My wife & I take it exploring when we go on canoe float trips. Mud, hill climbs and trail obstacles are what I mostly get into. I've just always spent more time working on my cj-7 that I ignored the Liberty. It shall be ignored NO MORE!
I'll just save the ignoring for the Commander.

Here is the spread with all 3 jeeps.
