Hey everyone,

my fiancee and I just bought our first jeep liberty. It's a 2005 Renegade and she is in love with it. Our owners manual is on order form the dealership as of now, but I have a question and was wondering if y'all could help. She was driving home from work today and noticed a light come up on her dashboard. The light is an exclamtion point with a rigid half circle around it. I called the parts department at the dealership and they told me it could be one of 3 things....her e-brake was on, her brake fluid was low, or her tires were low. I've checked all 3 and they were all in good shape. Can someone with a manual give me a confirmation that one of these is the problem??? Thank you in advanced!

Is it amber in color top right next to tach? It is low tire pressure.
Check all five tires 28psi or more. Dealer can recalibrate for lower tire pressure.

Sometimes my '06 does that too but I have the EVIC so I can see which tire it is. Be patient as sometimes the sensors quit transmitting for a few hours then they just come back again. On mine there is also one on the spare so check the pressure there too. Also make sure they are all within about 5 PSI of one another too as they will alert if one is lower than the others.

thanks guys...the light went off after i checked the pressure, all up to where they're supposed to be and within 5psi's of eachother. i have another question if y'all don't mind. my fiancee tried her cd player for the first time yesterday and it doesn't work...the radio doesn't even recognize a cd being in the player. we were told that she has a 36, 000 mile warranty and she is at 30,000 now. will they charge me for labor for bringing it back??? i mean, i bought it from a jeep dealership but i remember the salesman mentioning something about being under warranty by jeep...he wasn't very thorough about too much, so anything would help. thanks again
