Help me pick new tires!

Trying to decide on tires for the KJ. I have Toyo Open Country AT3s on the Rene which I love and have Nitto Terra Grapplers on the LR3 which are great (have had 3 sets of those on the LR3 and 2 on the KJ). The KJ isn't a DD anymore, still gets driven often, but thinking of going something more aggressive than the Toyos. My issue is so much of the AT/MT hybrids or MTs are LT tires and weigh 50+ pounds. The hankooks I think weigh about 40 each, and I don't want to go much heavier, if any, than that. Am I over thinking it? Looking at stuff in 245/75/16!

Im loving the General Grabbers now
For the snow/ice etc we have had since installing them I have used 4WD less this year than when I ran Falken Wildpeaks or the Duratracs
And this comes from me trying to hate these tires but just can't

For years I ran BF Goodrich and swore by them. Then the last two sets I got only gave me about 30000 miles where I used to get 70000 miles. I talked to some friends and they said General grabbers gripped better and lasted up to 80000 miles. Alot cheaper too. Bought a set and not regretted it. Got about 30000 miles on them and have a little better than half the tread still left! I always rotate them every 6000 miles and run max air pressure (44 psi). I would recommend them. Excellent in mud and snow too.

I took Mudd's suggestion last fall and am very happy with them. For such an aggressive tire they're super quiet and seem to be wearing perfect. Holding balance is another plus. I don't think you can go wrong with these. Oh, and they're very competitively priced, too. I think I paid about $150 +/- each. (Tire Rack)

Made my decision... Toyo Open Country AT3s. Blain's Farm and Fleet was having a sale and ordered a set of 5, mounted and balanced OTD it'll be $900. Not too bad these days!
