Hmm, if you're serious about investing in an oil company, I'd suggest National Oilwell. They're in the process of buying out a couple of their competitors, right now and have plans to set up their own machine shop so they don't have to spend as much money at the shop I work in. They should be surpassing Halliburton, in size and profits, sometime this year.

Sounds like a good tip.

Nope, I didn't get my money yet.. :( This will give me some time to think logically. You know yesterday I had a thought, just for a split second, not to spend it on a subwoofer, thinking "what good will it do", but then I said, life is short, afterall if it doesn't sound good, I can always send it back! :)

So I have a bit more time to make up my mind. You know if I was only driving a bit more sanely and had someone to install it for me, I would definitely get a 2.5" or even 3" lift, but believe me, it's not for me!

Oh and check my ebay link on the sig, help me get the thing you voted for above! :D

just tinted for starters and I ordered cross bars, which I plan to buy lights and add on. For now subwoofer is on stand by, as it gave me a huge headache at Best Buy (although that was 600watt amp with a big glass box sub) so I decided to skip that for now, as for the paint job, I am planning to get more accurate quote from someone who knows what he is doing, then make up my mind. Yesterday I just looked at the paint, it is in terrible condition with tiny scratches.. and I hated that. Last but not least, new tires are still a MUST, but I am pretty sure wrangler HPs can live through this summer. I am only at 37k with these, and they should do 40k with no problems.

Here is the tint pix:

Tint looks good! I've put tint on every vehicle I've had, it's a must have. The paint doesn't look bad at all in these pics, but I know it's different in person. Have you tried buffing/waxing or taking it to a detail shop to see what they could do. It would definitely be alot cheaper than new paint.

Yeah, paint looks OK on the pictures, but I had some other close up, almost macro shots, and it really looks bad, from all those car-wash places, i guess. I will take it to a detailing/body shop as soon as I find one that I can trust. OR I will drive to KY and take it "MR. JEEPJEEPSTER DETAIL IT LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT" detailing shop!!!! :D

Tint looks good! Just make sure its not too dark and make sure you got proof incase a cop with nothing else better to do tries to pull you over for it.

And as far as detailing, KY isn't THAT far from NY....and i'm sure Blake wouldn't mind....it'd give him a new challenge :)

Hey, that looks good. :)

I sure do hope your neighbors use their parking brakes when parking in that driveway! I'd hate for something crazy to happen and hear the car slam into the garage door...

Well, I have no way of getting out of a ticket in case I am pulled over.. I just hope it doesn't happen, because it is way to dark, even darker than I thought it would be! In NYS, you cannot tint the fronts AT ALL, so it is a bit of a pickle if I am pulled over...

KY is not that far? I think it's like 750 miles or something.. :p

Marlon, I hope they do, too! I used to use mine all the time now I stopped because it keeps pinching the little plastic there, and it will end up ripping completely one day because the handle is not positioned properly, so it is to the left.. :(

Dude the majority of the states don't allow front tint lol. It's not really dark, so stop being a girl haha:). I used to have that all around and drove on a two lane road next to a cop and never had trouble, just don't drive like an idiot and give him an excuse to pull you over. BTW, I don't live in a po-dunk town, I live in a small city, so there are plenty of cops as well.

how dark did you get? when I got mine the guy asked me how dark I wanted...I told him as dark as I can get and still be legal. In my area, 32 percent is legal, so he did 35 percent because he said the factory tint, even though it isn't much, counts for 2-3 percent....so supposedly, I wound up with about 32 percent which is perfect for me.

here's mine:

FINALLY!!!!! It really looks good.. The windshield isnt tinted as far down as mine so I bet that makes driving alittle better than mine. I look right at the bottom of the tint when driving but its never bothered me.

HA! Huseyin driving normal!?! Thats a funny one!

If you ever do get pulled over, just roll both front windows down.. It may look alittle weird in the middle of winter, but its worth a try. haha..

And I would be all up for giving that paint a good working! Megs #83 would fix it right up!

BTW, who had the quote in their sig about Megs making a toothpaste? Where did that come from?
