I may get a set of these wheels but I'll have to find some center caps.
Can someone show me a picture of the center caps?
Is it plastic with color matching the wheel with Jeep on it?
Here's the wheel I'm looking at:

I really like these wheels and may end up selling my set of Moabs.
Wish I'd known about them before. But if they were only on Renegades that's probably why I haven't seen them. I see a whole lot of Sports and Limiteds around here. But no Renegades. Great looking wheel.

Here's a cap from an old set of wheels from my Wrangler. These are the centers to Grizzly's and they are silver painted plastic - does the cap for the Renegade look the same but with a Metalic gray Finish?

The problem with going to the dealer these days is they get parts numbers from your VIN. If you didn't have these wheels on your Jeep when bought new then they don't know how to find the part number for the caps. DUH????
If you order them they are special order and if they are wrong tough luck for the buyer...Rediculous.
So I'm trying to find out exactly what I need so I have something to show them.

If I can get the caps I'll get the wheels......:D

I think you could order new '04/'05/'06 Renegade center caps from the dealer. Might be pricy, but maybe not?? Good luck. And yes..., they are sweet looking wheels...., if you keep the brake dust cleaned off them - lol.

I have an '03 Renny and my center caps are not color matched. Mine are just the silvery finish caps - "brushed aluminum" I believe it is. When I was looking at replaceing mine, I found a bunch on eBay but decided not to get any. They seem to be a bit pricey no matter where you look so I can only imagine what the dealer is going to try to get from you. Probably an arm, leg, and your first born.

That's the mistake I made with mine, the first 4 years of owning my '05 Renegade I didn't do a very good job of keeping up on maintenance. I had an issue with my rear brakes dragging and the dust and rust contaminated the finish on my back rims. This is the reason why I was thinking about painting them hammer tone black. I was talked out of that by the folks here on the forums, so I got a few extra strength wheel cleaning products and a set of detailing brushes, was able to get 90% of the junk off my rims, but there's still a few tight spots that won't come clean.

Moab....if you do get these rims, they are one of the nicest stock rims offered by Jeep, just stay on top of keep them clean....

Thanks for the heads up on keeping them looking nice.

What Size - Help?

I found out there are 2 different sizes for the Jeep dark grey center caps - not sure which fits the 2005 Renegade wheel.
Can someone measure the face size and tell me if there is a metal ring on the back or not.
Greatly appreciated if you can help!

(Pics are not actual size with relationship to eachother - pics are for back detail)

One measures about 1 1/4", I think the other is about 1 7/8"

Again thanks for any help.
