See if the "new" unit has Trac-Lok (in that case you'll need a friction modifier) and you can get with dino oil instead syn... ah! and 80W90 should do it either...

Good luck! :)

Just wanted to drop a note thanking you guys for all the advice and help. The operation was a success. It took me about 6 hrs in my gravel driveway to do the job. Would have gone much faster but maneuvering the new unit into place on two jacks in soft gravel took a bit of time. Overall was an easy job with no gotchas. Total cost to her was $565 including oil, rtv, etc. New unit looked really good inside so I don't have too many concerns on the junk yard unit. It's been in for about 3 weeks now and it's going great. The best part was figuring out the drum brakes (never done that before) but thankfully my grandfather had the tools I needed for that.

Thanks again.
