Hope everyone is doing good. I bought a 2007 Liberty a few months ago and have been lurking in the background soaking up info. Already fixed several things. Now I'm looking into putting a lift on it. See ya around.

Welcome to the forum. What size lift are you thinking of getting?

A small one. I think I'm going with the OME 926/948 with Bilsteins route. Still getting everything together. The springs and shocks need to be replaced anyway so might as well upgrade a bit. It's a manual 2007 sport my wife drives mostly so I don't want to get it too high. But I've already hit bottom a couple times running some local trails so it needs to get lifted some.

Not going to sit level with 926/948s, it will with 927/948s at 2.5 inches over new stock height

I'm never going to put anything else on the front end so I thought the medium duty would do. I want it to flex and not be too stiff. What would I need to do to get it at least get back to the stock rake angle?

I am really just wanting a 1.5" lift like JBA had, but is out of stock. Do you know what springs they were using for it?

Pics of your Jeep? I have a 2007 myself. :)

I'll try and post one soon. It is very close to your was before you modified yours. Its the same green. Originally came from NJ (the bad part), has the 6-speed manual, and had about 82k miles on it when I bought it. It's fun driving on the trails because its small and can turn so tight compared to my truck. Almost like a street legal UTV with heating and AC. But it needs more ground clearance underneath, but my wife drives it mostly and she has to get the grandkids in and out so it has to be reasonable.

I know the 927/948 combo is popular, but would I be ok going with the 926/947?

If that's a problem I'll just go with the 927/948 since they are known to work well, but I really don't think I need the extra capacity. Thanks.
