I'm not sure I understand fully how this works......do you leave the engine running to keep it inflated? One would think if thats the cause once it gets full it would have the same effect as putting a potato in your tail pipe and trying to run the engine, blocking the exhaust from coming out.

It should have one way valve,
check first picture

but in any way, I woulnd't trust an inflated jack if I will be working underneath, but for a quick tire swap, it may work. Otherwise stick to mechanical jack

I think its more so for getting out if you are stuck.. O:)

The potato in the tail pipe thing is alittle different. You engine isnt running when you put the potato in the exhaust. Same thing when the exhaust goes under water. Its fine as long as you do not shut the engine off. But if you do, then restart, it could blow a piston ring or just not start..

wow thanks u guys, i have another question, ar ethere any lost groups in lousiana. i know we don't have rocks buti know we have sum mud.

having used one in soft sand i can say they WORK VERY WELL, i dont own one but a friend with a tj does and it lifted my KJ easily

and no the engine didnt suffer like it had a potato in the pipe
