i ordered a kit from ddm tuning there about $60 i think maybe a little more for the 55 watt all you need to know is what headlight bulb you have and what color you want

Is it difficult to walk with all that heavy curses on your shoulder? I really don't mind directional bi-xenon or whatever that crap is, but this thing is too wide and too bright.

I *almost* ordered them from DDM a few days ago.

But these shipping charges are ridiculous.

What in the world made you go for 55W? 35W is about right, and if you get the right color temperature, close to OEM (which is 4300K) you'll never get in trouble.

so what happens if you blind someone coming towards you and they hit you head on?

hid headlights are just fine if they are setup right they dont blind people
but they need to be setup correctly and adjusted after install

So the arc length has nothing to do with the beam pattern of the headlight housing inside the headlamp as compared to the filament of a halogen bulb? So how do you propose to fix the High/Low beam issue with a HID bulb that has only one arc point?

i dont know what kind of streets you drive on or TJ, but i dont live in a rural town with one lane roads in either direction, i cant even remember the last time i was on a two lane road, ive been blinded many of times by people with ALL kinds of lights, dont think its ever blinded me hard enough or long enough to go swerving across two lanes of road into oncoming lanes but hey i guess thats just me.

I get it all the time from 4 lanes away on I95. HID bulbs are not designed for halogen casings. They have too much light in them that does not reflect properly. It has nothingto do with the temperature of the lamp( that would be the color to most of you in Kelvin) but actualy the length of the arc of the HID. There is no element in a HID it is an actual arc.

Here is a bad photo of the difference http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj26/pauljohnb/DIY HID Fog Lamps/21-HID_Halogen_Bulbs.jpg
