I'm sure this has come up before. My liberty is parked outside my detached garage and yesterday it just started honking for a few minutes then stopped. Nobody touched it as far as I know, solid horn not alarm on off repeat, the car has been sitting few a few months. If anything triggered it that might be the weather having turned warmer (I've read about it happening when turning colder... for whatever that's worth)
So, a little while later I thought I'd press the horn button and see if it worked normally, and it started and didn't stop until I pulled the negative battery cable.
So, okay. Fine. I'll plan to get a clock spring I guess in salvage. Is that my next step? I can use a yard where I'll get a warranty so if the replacement is also bad, I can just swap again.
