I use this, 32,000 lbs of thrust. Ufortunately, not very portable. And 14,000 lbs of JP8 costs a bundle.

Wow Ian, now that is what I call a light! Love photo's and the second one of engines at full thrust, taken from under the aircraft, you better hope the brakes/blocks hold, otherwise you turn into a burnt marshmallow before you get blown away....

Liberty Fever's Lighter is one guaranteed to make you miss your flight....LOL!

Great big chains anchor the jet to the ground during burner runs. But... the ground does shake some feirce when you're right underneath it!!

Nope, free to move around. If you're dumb enough to step out behind the jet, you deserve to get pitched over the jet blast deflector. Just for fun we toss rope chocks ( 6" anchor rope by about 3ft) into the exhaust and watch them rocket out into the field at ridiculous speed. ***** going to pick them up after.

The venturi effect... air exiting the jet at 980F and 1200mph pulls air around the jet towards the back. It's surprisingly cool under there.

I think I'll stick with an over glorified hair drier* to reduce the size of the "Electrical ""Shrink"" tubing!!
(*For the price of a heat gun, you cannot really go wrong!)

I only use petro chemically fuelled incendiary devices to mildly ignite
dried plant matter!
(Now... that's "Tobacco" I'm talking about folks! So don't be getting any ideas:D)
