Replaced with a nice set of those rubber over aluminum Felpro Perma-dry. Everything went well. I hope mine will be running another several years.might have mine done aswell. i know they dont last over 200,XXXk's

But I let it overheat a few times, then it dropped a valve. And the engine is trashed.
I just got one 2006 Liberty a few months ago - I was told the 3.7L engine had head gasket issues and mine is losing some coolant... otherwise I love it.
Dunno, I'm second owner and mine just hit 184k 04 liberty and so far very minimum of work has been done to it. Though both the previous owner and myself were religious on preventative maintenance.Hey there I just brought an 06 Jeep Liberty. I fell in love with it as soon as I took it for a test drive. I was just wondering how long the 3.7L engine will last with routine oil changes? Has anyone out there ever had any major problems with the engine?
