How much air you should run in your 10pr tires

I was wandering, what's the proper air pressure for 245/75r16 10pr tires while driving on the road? I ask cause your average tires has a 55 psi max on them. And mines have a 80 psi max pressure? Might sound dumb but at 35 psi they look low!!!!

When I ran 245/75R16 MT/R's(E range) I got best wear,mpg's,and handling at 38-40psi.

Same^^^^^^^^ rides a little stiff but seems to be the best for handling and on road traction.

Thanks guys, mine are at 35 psi. But I will get them at 40.
