Working on an '05 Liberty Sport...
Not sure why I thought any of the existing E18 bolts would be reusable ... nothing else has come apart like it should ... both lower control arm mounting bolts were seized, so had to break out the sawzaw ... the upper balljoint nut was seized, so I had to use the nut splitter ... and although the bolt holding the clevis to the lower control arm cam out, it tore off the metal retaining tab ... and then to top it all, CV Shaft wont separate from the hub even with 7 tons of force applied ... At this point the only thing in the front drivers thats going to be original, is the clevis fork, the caliber and the wheel rim!
So I ordered the same bolts from Amazon (same part number) but although advertised as 12.9, when they arrived, the box says "Carbon Steel" and they are stamped 8.8 ... M12-1.75 8.8 bolts are only good for around 60 ft-lb, and those are supposed to be torqued to around 100 ft-lb, you could say, I'm not happy, as it wasted three days waiting for their arrival and a couple more days for the replacements. But I am glad I checked the torque requirements.
