Strange, cause on my RX7 I run a 235 up front on 8", 265 rears on 9"...
Oops, misread...thought you said 235s on 9".
Low profile performance fitment is completely different than truck fitment.

I have a 16x8 on my 04 and they fit just fine, they’re not exactly off-road but they look nice and I’ve never had and issue popping my beadI don't think I've ever had such a hard time finding wheels I like for my Liberty than any other vehicle I've owned. All the wheels listed to fit are car/tunner wheels. I want rugged off-road style wheels in an 8" width that will fit with no issues... no 5 spoke fast & furious 20" chromed out skinnies. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Not entire true, I run a 16x8 and have absolutely 0 rubbing or anything with no liftUnless your lifted your a no-go for a 8" wide rim.Keep your stock rims, paint them if needed,as there the only 100% sure fire way for no rubbing.
LOL oh well seen way to many that do have issues , so it is entirely trueNot entire true, I run a 16x8 and have absolutely 0 rubbing or anything with no lift
