Thanks, I'd do the M8000, can't go wrong.

Thanks. Yep did 2 pulls with it, just to stretch the line. It was awesome:gr_grin:

That's awesome, HJ!!

Any chance you could post a pic of the wiring going to the battery? I'm putting on a bumper next week and a Warn soon to follow - curious how to route the winch's leads cleanly through the grill to the battery.

We'll be ready for Windrock now, eh? :waytogo:

Bumper, Eh???

Yep, pics when it's installed. Nothing earth shattering, but something I've wanted to add to my KJ since I got it.

Prolly have to upgrade the front suspension to support it... Maybe JBA coilovers? ;)

Yep I'll snap some pics! Pretty much just ran it along the bumper till the second to last slot and up and away from the power steering cooler.

Past the PS cooler lines (not touching, the wires are in front of it by a bit)

Then through the foldable rubber thingy and under the upper radiator support

And to a slightly dirty/leaky Diehard Gold battery (Warn recommended a 2 year old leaky Diehard for the M8000:gr_grin:)

The first test I did when I had my winch was hooking it to my belt loop and letting it drag me up my driveway. Made it half way before I had a wardrobe malfunction.

You should give it a try.

Good job. Eventually I'll get mine mounted once I build a bumper for it. Luckily I still have my Warn 9500i from my previous rockcrawler.
