OK. Thanks.
here is the sound of Delta Flowmaster Delta 40

here is another one

Pitch of the roar, all depends on the pipes I think, because for some reason a previous member's post here sounds so much higher pitched and not as consistent, again I am sure that is the pipe..

Also keep in mind that Flowmasters, while they have a definite distinct sound, will be noticeably different for each type of vehicle.

Tim, so it is not only the piping? Because I seriously thought that KJ's stock pipe on that last video resulted in that high pitched fart (excuse me) due to flow limitation at the muffler/pipe bridge, and of course downward end..
I want the sound that is on all other videos I posted above.. the PVTTT sound. :D

FWIW, I think you are going about things the right way. I'm was happy with my upgraded exhaust system and was from the moment i put it in. Not so much with the flash. Driving around normally, there isn't much of a difference, i might get slightly better gas mileage and a little extra power. Its at WOT where it seems to make the most difference, but how often do you have your foot to the floor?

Based on what you've posted and our pm's, i'm going to bet you'll be happier with the shift kit than the flash; especially if you can do it yourself and save the installation cost. I know its only a correction kit, but if there is something that's more likely to keep you from shifting into 4th too early, its the shift kit. I've been paying more attention the last few days to the shift points. The flash doesn't seem to have changed them while driving conservatively.

Thanks a bunch for all the advice you have given me on that flash. I do not believe Ill go that route since it cost so much and you do not notice a BIG difference. I have only had my Jeep to the floor a handful of times. I know its not been over 20times in the 3yrs Ive had it. Usually its only when its needed(IE passing on wrong side of road and a car comes).. Only a few times has it been for the fun of it.. :)

Ohh, I got the FlowMaster 50 SUV model.. Ill be sure to get many vids from inside the Jeep and outside. Ill note the RPM's when taking the vids so you will know how loud it is at what rpms. Ill also be sure to take the same roads in each vid so that I get it as constant as possible.

If you want the classic flowmaster sound, the real crisp sound, without the "fart" effect, then you'll probably want to upgrade the pipe from the muffler back (like a cat back system, like rusty's). If you do go this route, make sure the pipe you get has mandrel bends in it. The mandrel bends help to improve flow, as well as sound. Rusty's has mandrel bends in it.

Why do you recommend that Tim? Ill be cutting out all the pipe that isnt 2.5in, so I would gain nothing by doing that.
