I'm looking for some additional ideas for our KJ...
What else can Jen and I do to improve our Rig?

We're re-geared, air locked/on board air.
We have a very comprehensive recovery kit for our heep,
Including redundant equipment..
We're about to order a pair of killer sliders from Rock Lizard.
New skids on the way as well.
We've got a new basket and ham radio ready to pick up...

Any ideas ladies and gentalmen?

i remember a while back you were throwing around the idea of making a custom fascia for the backbone, theres not really much else i can think of that you've missed lol, maybe a turret on top for when the zombies come lol

I'm waiting for payday so I can order some rock sliders.
I want to try and tie them in with some tubing that runs up over the
front fender flares. Like what ARB sells. You'll see what I mean in the
photo's in this link.
Sliders & Steps

Paint it. Please!

Paint it Viper Green Metallic!
I'd love to but that will have to wait until I have a place to spray it myself.

I like those ARB sliders/steps in that link Ry. They would be better in black thought. Just my opinion.

Is it chipped? Or, how about an aftermarket exhaust system for added power? :driver: (Since it's your money we're spending...)

Definitely in black Dave.

Solid front axle swap?

Maybe a Hemi!

Custom rear bumper with swing out spare and jerry can mount?

Year after next (2014). I'm slowly starting to acquire parts.
Spreading it out over time will allow me to get the best quality parts.

A new exhaust system/muffler will probably be needed by the autumn.
Jen's (And me) are interested in a B&G PCM/TCM and Stage II Jet Performance Chip.
I figure when we go this route a Fast Man Throttle body wouldn't hurt
either.

Always wondered why you didn't go with the ARB bumper?

I went with the Backbone because I like the look of the stock front bumper.

I'm thinking the same as well...especially since our higher altitude negatively affects performance. Took a roadtrip to Illinois last year and realized how much power the 3.7 really has when it gets enough oxygen. Those three mods would be well worth the investment.
