i'm confused at how 4.10s would save gas? they'll make your highway rpms much higher...

Putting 31" tires on a KJ with the stock 3.73's increases the final drive ratio.Re-gearing(correctly) put's the final drive ratio back to OE specs.

I have a rubber cap that seals the opening for the inflator hose, It's removed for the photo!
