I've read (never done it) that you can either put some washers in there, or really torque down on the bolt to crush the mount on the KJ. I, personally, wouldn't do this (crushing mount).

Worst case, if you have no means to get washers, just bolt it up, drive to the store, and get them. I don't think it'd cause you any issue other than noise. If you're worried about it, just take it slow.

So what you putting struts on? The KJ only uses shocks on all 4 corners.

I thought the fronts were considered struts?

Per RockAuto, and many other sites I've found:

RANCHO Part # RSX17505 More Info {RSX17000 Series; Strut Assembly; Front w/0 in. Lift/Drop}
RSX17000; Strut Assembly; Front w/0 in. Lift/Drop

I do believe it's called a coil-over shock when there is an upper-control arm and a strut if there isn't an upper-control arm... Not much of a difference in my opinion...

Roger roger....just wondering. I have heard coil-over used before, which makes more sense I guess.

Thanks
