Fixed the 5 rear lug studs on the Renegade. When I decided to crank the Jeep I noticed the Serpentine belt had snapped. smh. Luckily I had a spare one from the parted 04 KJ. When I thought everything was good enough to change the radiator, I noticed all my coolant leaking out. I threw myself under the Jeep and noticed a freeze plug right above the starter leaking. It’s a bad leak it can’t hold no coolant at all. I swear the Renegade hit me with a combo of repairs to do.

Lucky, I'm a little disappointed I've yet to have a chance to really just slide around in my jeep the only real snow I've dealt with has been going down a mountain pass, not a place to try to drift lol.
As a west coast city we dont see much in the way of snow. But when we do, it melt during the day and freezes at night. The main streets ane bike routes are plowed but every side street is a sheet of ice. We aren't a real winter city so they don't invest in a lot of snow removal equipment. Which in my opinion is the sensible choice. Our cars have winter tires, so I dont have sympathy for people who can't get out of their street.

I dont mess around on our mountain passes either 20 min drive from the city and you can hit bad conditions. If I go east for about 1.5 hours you can hit the highway through hell

I brought my liberty back from the dead. Developed a misfire on cylinder 3. Brought it to a shop and they charged me 50 dollars to tell me the coil was good and that it was either carbon buildup, clogged/ bad fuel injector, bad spark plug, or dead hole in the cylinder. After throwing the parts canon at it and nothing working, I was about to give up and buy a new car. Less than an hour before I was about to meet up with someone to test drive another car, I decided to check the ignition coil anyway. Swapped the cylinder 3 and 5 coils and suddenly my p0303 code changed to a p0305 code. A 35 dollar coil later and it runs like a dream again

Went to the dealership today to retrieve a freeze plug. 6034804AB is the part number if anyone ever needs it. The plug is a perfect fit. Im going to clean the hole up with some sandpaper before installing.

My game plan is to keep the Jeep RWD and throw the idea of 4x4 out the window for now. I’m new to regearing
I did a little research to see what tools are needed to complete the job. I would like to have everything I need before I start and also see if there are any recommendations for a reputable reliable brand to purchase the gears from. Or would it be easier and faster to find a rear diff with the 4.10 gears and “just plug it in”

Much easier.... if you can find one, they were only fitted to the 2.4 4 cylinder and the 2.5CRD.
Last one I bought turned out to be worse than the one I was going to replace, they are all 20+ years old and most seem to have been neglected.

So there are a couple ways of doing this. Personally I find the rear diff to be the easier of the two diff to re-gear, only the pinion needs shims. Anyway I just ordered a front diff from our used parts supplier (he finds parts we need at the shop and gets them) and he found a 4 cylinder Liberty in Alberta. I scooped up the front diff, but I would assume they have the rear diff still. I'm in the middle of waiting for the rest of my parts to arrive for my change over (bought from different vendors). That said if you are local, I can sell you the front for auto wrecker price and pay me to install the ring and pinon into the case, then you can slap it in.

with the PIN code I can turn the TPMS on or off.
Hi Sota, sorry if it has already been told, but where and how did you get your vehicle pincode?
I bought an OBDII device which is also able to turn on/off the TPMS, but it requests the fuc...g PIN CODE.
