I got some more LED strips yesterday and put them in today.
I installed them on the mid support columns just behind the front seats.
Are ever bright! I'm going to order more to do the other columns.
Ran the wiring, slapped them on with 2 way tape and PRESTO!
So for the quality of the pics, it's dark and cold and I had to play with the settings so the flash wouldn't come one and by that time I was trembling
BTW got the LED strips from a site called:

Looks good, I would've personally moved them a little further back, because its hard to see in the floor board with the stock courtesy lights. Or Maybe under the front seats shining in the back floor board......I might just do that.

off topic, but where did you get those seat covers, and how much were they? Looks like they fit nice and snug! I am just about to pull the trigger on the mopar covers, but if these are significantly cheaper...

My KJ is a Columbia edition hence the Columbia logo on the seat covers. Leather on each side of the seats.....very comfy....I don't know if the covers can be ordered seperate but I wouldn't doubt it.

The feet area for the rear sets will be lit up when I put more lights on the rear columns. Amperage dram is minimal on these so I'm not worried about adding a few more....I'll have some pics when it's all done (as soon as my next order comes in.
And as usual, pics don't do anything justice....the seats are nicer than that and the lights make more light than what you see here.

I dread to think what activities you get up to in there that need that much light - home-made **** movies, perhaps?

I've got a lovely light sitting here that I just need to install...... having no light over the back seat stinks on ice w/ children. Nice mod.

Is there a tech article about adding the extra lighting?

I heard, long ago, that any extra lighting would kill the body control module. Any truth to that or just a big rumour?

Heres the article. There is a lot of debate around the BCM and how much you can do to it without damage. I think the general consensus at the time was that adding a single light would have a negligible effect. YRMV
