Installing a differential locker

How difficult would it be for an amateur to install a detroit locker in a KJ rear differential at home? Any tools I would need that arent commonly found in a household garage?

Much harder than you think. A press, case spreader, race installer, dial indicater, caliper micrometer. And some other stuff. Oh yea... Lots of patients.....
