Installing Late Model Renegade Roof Rails on 2004 Sport?

Anyone ever install roof rails from a later model KJ Renegade (see attachment) on a 2004 Sport? I don't have any roof rails right now and am looking to buy and install some.

i have a set of the black renegade rails id be willing to swap out with some silver ones if anyone is interested.

As for installation im sure its relatively easy, as long as you are comfortable drilling holes into the roof of your KJ.

I'd think the holes should already be there. Just remove the covers.

Nope. Stripper Sport models didn't come with any. I've seen a few of them, there aren't many. Most 2.4L KJs didn't come with any. Most 3.7L KJs did however.

Not to be a naysayer or anything but the Sport rails are bit more sturdy and depending on what you will use them for, may be a better option. I am just throwing it out there.
