I'm having issues with the junk I lifted the front of my 05 renegade with sagging literally before my eyes, what should be about 2.5 inches of lift is 1.5 actual. I want to take it out and it seems the old man emu 2927 coils are the way to go. I was just wondering if anyone with these could tell me the actual lift these springs have given them and how they are holding up over time as per lift height?
Thank you.

I just put on OME 927's, bilstein shocks and 1/4 inch top plate on the front of my wifes 02. From the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare is 21.5 inches. Rear is OME 948's plus one extra upper spring isolator. Rear is about 21.75 inches.

What kind of junk did you lift your kj with?

Id rather not say..cough daystar cough...lol so the coils gave you a 2 inch lift? Needed the top plate for the extra half inch? Im good with that as long as that's the true lift and it hold up over time.

Yes, some get a little more lift using this same combo but this is where the 02 ended up at. OME is the way to go and hold up well.

Its the spring rate to these that give you the actual lift correct? Your bilstein's would technically be the same length as oem shocks not extended in any way?

Not sure about that. I know there is alot of good info in the kj lift pics and spec thread section. We are in the KK lift discussion.

Your welcome, tommudd is the expert when it comes to knowledge about lifting kj's. I've learned it all from him.

OME 927s will give you 2.5 inches of lift and are rated at 400 lb
OME 926s will give you about 1.75- 2 inches and are rated at 375 lbs
OME 925s will give you about an inch and are rated at 350 lbs
stock is rated at 310 lbs
Either bilstein or OME shock with Bilsteins a bit cheaper
plus Teraflex front bumpstops

Awesome thanks tom, I've noticed in some other threads you have mentioned you have ran the 927s for a significant distance, how much height did you find you lost over time?

My first lift on the 04 ( bought it new, lifted at less than 20,000 miles ) was 927 front springs, ran that lift until right at 120,000 miles and sold it to a friend of mine who started with a Daystar. I mounted the ARB front bumper on the front about a 1000 miles after installing the lift.
In that amount of time ( 100,000 miles ) I lost LESS than 1/2 inch and that is with the extra weight of the ARB hanging on there

Wow that is impressive you have sold me on OME. Thank you for the info bud I realize you have to answer to these coil spring questions far too much and I didn't even post it in the right section lol. I appreciate it. The only downer is I live in Canada so no JBA parts for me cause they couldn't tell me if there was any duty or border fees on their products. I've found two performance parts sources so far that carry them in Canada.
