Hey guys, the girlfriend has an 08 kk six speed manual sport model I believe. Anyhow it has these random dash lights come one at times. The 4wd ones come on most recently just this week. The others for a while now. She reports there doesn't seem to be any consistency to when they happen. And that abs continues to work normally, 4wd works normal, and she notices no changes besides the lights coming on. Hooked it up to a code reader at the auto parts store and got c2200. Abs module internal error.
Soooooo I read lots of threads and no answers all over the web. Seems people replace abs modules, abs sensors, repair wires, clock springs, transfer case servos or electronic shifters whatever you call em... and on and on and on and report the problems only resolve intermittently and briefly
Anybody have better advice?

Check the battery connections including both side if the clamps. I had the blinking Christmas tree effect on my dash due to a loose ground entering the clamp at the post. Easy enough to check and rule out. Good luck.

Checked the posts. And replaced the battery as it was weak. No fix. Any other ideas anyone?

Truthfully myself I'd be leaning towards the abs module itself, but I'd make sure you have the terminals corrosion free and tight, check all fuses, interior and distribution block and test battery voltage and alternator output before deciding on parts.
The abs sensors would throw their own dedicated codes if one was on its way out.. definitely don't think it's your clock spring.. as for your shift solenoids and other sensors.. don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure they would also throw their own codes if hooked up to the correct code reader.
Not sure how you'd go about testing your abs module, but I'd imagine that's the path to go..
Doesn't seem like you got much input so far, but hopefully others chime in soon.

If you do go with the abs module, make sure you disconnect your battery obviously (negative only may be okay, but I'd disconnect both terminals [negative first] and wait a half hour just to be on the safe side).
Just make sure you match up the part numbers before deciding.

I'd ask give the wiring to the abs module o good look-over beforehand just in case, especially since it's an intermittent problem. Modules can go bad on their own, but typically speaking something causes it.. moisture, shorted wire, welding near the module, etc..

Check the wires and plugs underneath the passenger seat. Mine are loose. Every time someone sits down, lights come on.
