I run the "c" in my 3.7 KJ. Even with a heavy bumper and "sandbag winch" it didnt drop. They are stiff.....better have some weight upfront becuase without any, its a hard ride

I'm just worried about the load "b" sagging over time. But I don't have any extra weight. Was planning on having my fender height at 23" but I think I'd rather have it around 22.75" but I want it to be at that height once it's settled. Been trying to decide on a combo for a few months(dunno)

Very easy to get that height, been explained what to do like 1000s times before
ha ha
Everyone of the ones we do here we sit up the same way and all settle in at 22.50-22.75 . Of course if going to that height I would strongly suggest the UCAs as well.
Any spring will settle over time, doesn't matter what you buy, nature of the beast. What you want to look at is ride comfort and handling. So the regular Ironman springs and shocks up front , with a 1/4 inch top plate and .500 clevis spacer and done ( along with Teralex bumpstops)

If going with the OME 927s then everything the same but 3/8 inch clevis

And I've read hundreds of threads about this, and they all seem to come out with different measurements lol. Like the last ironman thread I read, where he used 1/4 top plate, 2 nut clevis and came out at 23". Yet most people say 23" isn't possible with Ironman. And if he would have used 1/2 clevis spacer then he would have been at 23.25". Once I have my mind made up I read something else that changes it lol :pshyco:. Only thing I'm sure of is that I really don't want to go up to a .500 clevis spacer

Well what I have found is some install the new lift, tighten everything with the weight off and no aligned yet and take a measurment. Of course its going to be higher. Right now you can go out, jack the front of yours up with all the weight off the front wheels and then slowly lower it and it will be 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher .
I never measure the end result until after its done, driven and aligned and driven some more. I know from all the experience of the ones that have been done here what they will settle and won't and when / plus how.

On mine, 20" in front with Ironman B springs, no top plate, no clevis. Got it to 22" with a 1/4" top plate and 1/2" clevis lift. Settled a little less than that.

And the Ironman that I put together to test and had on mine and now on 501s is still sitting right between 22.50-22.75 inches, right where I had it sit for after sagging.

Seems strange. I never contacted Marlin about it, don't really want to bother him over it unless there is an issue with the springs. I will say, as has been said by other Ironman lifted KJ owners, they ride nice. Much better over stock.

Yea that's what I'm afraid of, buying the Ironman and being maxed out around 22". I'm wanting to get the Ironman as I think it will be a better ride plus it's cheaper but it seems like OME would give u a few more options as far as fender height goes

From looking at the Ironman front shock pictures, it seems the Ironman shock may provide more lift compared to others (i know shocks don't lift vehicles), Theres a much larger gap on the Ironmans between where the spring sets and the top of the clevis. So essentially its either giving you a clevis lift or its preloading the springs more compared to a bilstein or other brand. Any thoughts on this?? Or am i just seeing things lol

Here's a pic from when Tom installed the Ironman on his. It does look like it would give a somewhat of a clevis lift from the bevel type deal around the spring holder

Seeing things, no difference
I have had all sitting side by side , Ironman shocks are longer both front and rear but give you no more lift than any of the others , can't
