Installing Ironman/Bilstein lift this weekend and have to ask a question before I start.
When we put the front together will it be to high to get a good alignment if I use a Al's Top plate and two conduit nuts per side? Or should I wait for the front to settle before putting the conduit nuts in?
I have Ironman/Bilstein for the back and plan on starting with one extra isolater per side. The number of isolaters in the rear can be changed to level it out.

Any time you adjust the front you will have to get a alignment. Just put then in and get it aligned. If your running stock arms don't expect perfect alignment, that's what jba arms are for.

Btw I love my ironman. It rides good. But I have no extras.

No, you should be fine in the front. It's common to use 3 conduit nuts (3/8 inch clevis lift, or 3/4" total) along with the 1/4" top plate (1/2" lift.)

But with just one iso in the rear you may have a droopy rear end - I don't know about you but I HATE that :anitoof:

The rear iso's are pretty easy to add or remove so see what it looks like when you get it all together.

Go for it, I did a similar install but with OME. 2 conduits per side and a 1/4" top plate for a total of 23"
Stock uca's no alignment problems, but when I get the $$$ I will install JBA uca's. To have it right that's all but no contact with the springs no noises. :favorites13:

UCA's

Got the rear done today, not bad for a old man. Absolutely forgot to measure rear height. Will do in the morning. Will work on getting the front changed from Daystar poly (There I admitted it) to real suspension. The list if anybody would like to compare:

Bilstein extended shocks (JBA) x2
Iromman Rear springs (JBA) x2
Top Isolator pads (Rock Auto) x4
Bottom Isolator pads (re use) x2
Hockey Pucks (Dick's Sprting Goods) x4

Will post pictures after it's done should be in the next few days. Thanks to all of the posts that I have gleaned information from. :smokin:

Pic's of Rear

As promised. I have heard that if pictures aren't taken it didn't happen. Well just the rear yesterday. Still has the Daystar front lift for a couple of days. The measurements for the rear after the new lift 22"center cap to the bottom of the flare. Can tell a ride difference with just the rear done and driven less than 25 miles.

Very cool!

That color is sweet, too. I've never seen one that color around here, only on the forums. With the blackout wheels, lifted and that "exclusive" color you have a very nice, unique Liberty :happy160:

Four Corners

I had to wait a while to get the front installed but here are some photo's of the Liberty with both the front and back done. It's off to the shop tomorrow for the first alignment. Then it"s a short trip this weekend for some OHV recreation and a pig roast/Wedding Reception. I will measure it again after this weekend but right now it is right at 23" plus or minus at all four corners. Maybe some dirty pictures this weekend. And the ride is better than it has ever been, I am one happy old man!

So what did you end up doing, as far as the top plate, clevis and iso spacers? What size rubber are you running? I have the Ironman springs laying at work to put in, but it's on hold till I'm back to work again

naughty boy! lol Just curious what he is running for tire size to put things into perspective here. 235/15" here, either going 30", 31", or 264/75r15 rubber once I'm done.

Nice!!

Have to watch parking garages now that you're lifted with the rack up top. Have fun offroad this weekend!
