For those in the know, what is the difference between the J.E. Reel CV Axles or the Jeepin By Al axles with ⅜ of an inch machined off?
JBA's are $240.00* ea. and the J.E.'s are $550.00 ea.
Are the axles and CV's on the J.E. Reel of better quality?
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not opposed to spending money for quality parts, but the stock CV's/axles have worked fine for the last 245000 Km.
Just what are you getting for twice the price?
BTW, I searched J.E. Reel's website but they don't list CV Axle Upgrade any longer.
*Stock replacement CV axles are $150.00
What are you getting for the additional $90.00 cost?
Just the inner CV being machined down ⅜ of an inch?
If that's the case, then I can machine them down myself!
