For anyone that is interested ;
here are a few pictures.
JBA just released them today , been in testing for some time and they are working great. Boot is heavier duty, so far no grease has came out on mine, running two spacers on one side and one on the other just for testing to see which is better but both holding well . I have some more I'll post later.

Interesting ......................:happy175:

If buying new UCAs you may still get the old style BJs until he is sold out of them. After that you'll get these

I ordered ONE yesterday. LOL

For some reason, I was under the impression that it would come in a pair because of price. It makes sense now though, just wasn't thinking enough. I'm going to order one more now.

Nice quality, & rebuild able! Take a look at the thicker base...
Looks like the new conical boot should seal better.
I wonder if tightened metal band or even a threaded boot could be designed, so it is not just a slip over/on.
Off road, hot summer weather, the old boots would slip down /bend & leak.
I would think overall, these should perform better.

I should of taken a better picture of the boots. They look and feel like they are about twice as thick, don't think they will come off as easy as the stock ones do/did .

So I got a message from Marlin on second order. He said use store pickup instead of shipping so he can waive shipping fee on second one. Such considerate man :)

Thanks for posting the pics, Tom. The 'in-person' look-see was too brief - examining the photos prompts a couple of questions.

1) From the looks of the top of the joint the spindle can be removed from the ball cradle, leaving the main housing attached to the a-arm. Is that how they can be replaced/rebuilt?

2) Does the ball joint base completely fill the hole in the a-arm? The Moogs I just installed leave a very small gap on the back side - not a big deal but I'm curious ;)

Thanks for posting :waytogo:

Pretty much the way the pieces are laid out in this picture is how it goes together , if that helps answer your question.

Looks like a nice unit.

Any idea the how long it's been tested? How often should it be serviced? Does using two spacers make any noise?

Yes I do know about how long, sets were tested for quite some time.
Serviced??? You mean greased? If so every oil change at least unless you are going 15-20,000 miles intervals No matter what I'm running I throw some new in every 3000 miles or so.
How would using two spacers make noise , they are held tight against one another , so no noise at all.
I've ran mine through woods, pasture fields, single lane back roads with nothing but potholes and on longer trips on the Interstate at speeds up to 100 mph, no noise, ride good, ( yes I swear they feel better than stock ones )
