I asked about them back in 2009 and was told that they are
noisy, a royal pain to reconnect, and will be replacing pins often.

I wonder if they have been improved since then?
As I would like a pair myself!

Really not worth it in the long run, have wheeled with people with them who later removed them due to noise, other issues.
What little you gain is not worth it.

So I talked to Marlin at jba we talked about the noise and he sells a bushing kit that reduces the noise next to nothing as for reconnecting them he said as long as your on level ground there in no issue with reconnecting them so after talking to Marlin I felt pretty comfortable so I ordered them I guess we will see how they work out

Well... Out here in UT, we're to known for our difficult trails but I've never felt the need to disconnect the sway bar.

Just Be Aware that they're not needed... and will probably just break anyway... just sayin'

Would I be able to go to the local performance shop and pick up some stainless steel brake lines front and back since I'm lifting it

Good idea Manny!
I'm still not convinced that the "Quick disconnects" are worth the money!
And based on what many other KJ owners here who have wheeled their
Rigs extensively have said over and over again, I'll pass!

just south of doucheville
wow $200
that is 1/3 the cost of a Detroit locker
and with that you dont need to disconnect the sway bar
because lifting a wheel will not matter

I would like to see some real world numbers on an RTI ramp
with and with out

Not worth it,stay connected, get a Detroit TrueTrac or ARB air locker up front and call it a day.Diconnecting will lead to other issues with the CV axles, ball joints, tie rod ends, and the R&P sterring gear all for maybe 2" more travel(1" up,1" down).
