JBA's and new struts..

I'm sitting about 2.5" from stock and wanted to get the upper control arm balljoint at a better angle and a little better clearance from the spring.
It had original struts with the longer springs (that's the way I bought the truck) so here's getting right for what it is with the new JBA's and correct length front struts:

I notice you didn't open up the holes in the frame... I thought that was standard operating procedure, or is that only on 3" and taller lifts?

And.... wow... look at all that rust! i'm sure mine is about as bad... maybe when I go to install my lift in a week or two, I'll shoot some rustoleum on them... if not a coat of por15 and some paint...

The rust is alot worst in the pic than it actually is. I have since the install cleaned it up and sprayed with rustoleum satin black. I'm saving up for some adjust-a-struts which will be the time I do some more clearance work up front and a set of bump stops.
