I am just turning my head and looking outside my window to that Jeep Liberty that is sitting there, maybe 200 feet away, with the silver grille and it is 06, or 07, with those "fog lamps" on the grille. And yes, IT RESEMBLES 08 LIBERTY from this angle, I CAN SEE where they got the 08 shape, front or side, and if you think about it, it is not a huge difference, it is just the signature lines of the KJ that made it different GONE, otherwise I still see the Jeep in it. Believe me, it is there, it is just not the same.
If you want off road get Wrangler Unlimited X or Rubi, if you want On Road with capability, get Liberty or Commander, but still, they didn't make it to the "luxury" line just yet.
Last friday I sat in new LR2, I would rather get that instead of new KJ, if it has the low gear and similar angles, otherwise I am through with jeep unless I am going off-road, then I would never think of anything but wrangler.

Has anyone watched my Camp Jeep video? Look at the difference between Wrangler and any other Jeeps.. WOW! Flex? KJ or Commander? There is, but not enough, Wrangler: WHOAAA!! Just watch the darn video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjvNkoamN3o

Wrangler has sway bar disconnects from the factory. KJ articulates darn well with the sway bar disconnect.

KJ had it, I don't think KK will just be able to do all these as quickly. I was referring to the new line.

I totally agree with you, Hyedipin. It's all Liberty... just a different execution. :) Too bad everyone else is blind, LOL. :p

Hey hyedipin....that's a great video you put together, especially the music.

My old baby boomer ears detect remnants of Megadeath from the 80's, but it sounds much more current than that.

Who's the artist? (I guess I should Google "Warriors of the World").

Perfect choice of songs for the video! ;)

Thanks.

What is that bar standing right in front of the rear differential cover called? We don't have it currently.

Why would they put the tire underneath?? I can see a lot of people buying roof racks and putting it up on top.

At least when you remove the tire you will get greater clearance!! :) No mod needed.

from the pics I've seen it actually looks like they did a good job of tucking it out of the way...
They did a wonderful job of tucking it out of the way, at least on the Nitro... but it looks like from pictures, the Liberty's tire sticks out just a little bit more.

Still dont like the tire underneath. How many years have people had to crawl underneath to get the tire out in pouring down rain, in mud, snow whatever, stupid place to put it. Insurance issues??? I got hit from behind b y 7 cars all hitting one another then me. PT cruiser hit me and pushed me 11 feet with my brakes locked, scuffed up the tire and thats it, no damage. i drove away, only one to do so, cops were really laughing wondering why I stuck around!Oh by the way its really ugly also. Did i happen to mention that thereis not much i like about it??
