So i got them off but i see a light outline of the emblem is this where you guys use goo gone or something similar. I too it off by hand and rubbed the adhesive off by thumb. There is no adhesive and no matter how much i rub this light outline wont come off.

I used super fine rubbing compound on mine and outline was gone. You may or may not have paint fade where the emblem wasn't.

Get some Meguire's Ultimate compound. Helpful if you have a DA, but otherwise works fine by hand.

I'd love to find OE quality replacements for the chrome badges.. but I can never find anything on the internet.

I considered painting mine black or just removing them. I planned to do some hood blackouts (similar to the new Cherokee) with plastidip to see if I liked it... so I'm going for a silver with black accent sorta thing...

I like it better with the cleaner no badge look. Besides, I already know mine is a Jeep! ;)
