Hello all. This is my first post. I just purchased a 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 with 61,000 miles from a dealer in great condition. If maintained regularly, how many miles can I expect to get off the 3.7L? In the mid 90's, I owned a 2 door 1990 Cherokee 4x4 that had close to 300k miles on it. Can Libs attain that kind of mileage too? Also, if I join the Valvoline 300,000 Mile Club and use full synthetic 5w20, will that help?
Thank you!!!

I have an 02 going stong at nearly 170k. I can vouch for synth as i have always ran dino in my jeep. These libbies are made pretty tough. Dont overheat this motor and it will treat you well. Only use hoat coolant dont trust some shops universal coolant.

They last as long as you want them to usually
Like what has been posted above ^
Some go to almost 400k if taken care of, but some only last to maybe 180-200k or less if less care is taken into basic things like routine maintenance, etc.
You get out what you put in
Buying a used one, you aren't really going to know every detail on if the PO took care of it or not
In my case, I'm the 3rd owner of my KJ with currently 173k and it runs incredibly well so I'm optimistic that it was taken care of fairly well and that it'll last me a long time.
