Jeep Liberty KJ 2006, what size tires can I fit?

Hello, I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty KJ 2.8CRD engine, with a +40mm suspension.
I would like to know what size tire I can put on it so that there is not so much space, currently it has 235/70r16

245/75/R16 or 245/70/R16 are about the max sizes without getting into rubbing and having to trim issues.

Before you buy tyres, check your front ride hight, the diesel is heavy and eats front springs

You need to pinch welds in the front in order to fit 245/75R16.

Hi there, what size did you wind up going with? I am interested in getting a set of bf gooderich Trail Terrains - 245/70R16 online for my 2010 liberty but want to make sure I can before buying them! It's all stock, no lift etc...
