He had the 45RFE already in the liberty because it is a 2002. 45RFE is a beefy transmission I wish I had that transmission, it is also ment to hand the power and torque of the 4.7 and the 4.7 HO.

The front drive shaft will have to be lengthened to make up for the difference. No way around it unless you'd rather replace your fan with an electric slim and keep the engine position where it would be without moving it back. The mounts will have to be fabricated after you've decided how far back the motor is going to sit.

There's more than one way to skin this chicken.

I'm still around guys and the V8 KJ is still on the road. I don't drive it very much since the original intent was to do a full SAS which unfortunately never happened since the person that I bought the kit from took my money and never delivered on anything. It's too powerful to take off-road with the stock IFS is way too impractical to use as a daily driver with the amount of gas it guzzles.

Sorry for disappearing. Let me know if anyone has any questions regarding the build. I'll check in to answer.

I'd say the mileage with 4.56 gearing works out to a little over 12 mpg. Pretty bad and, no, it hasn't been tuned.
