What are your thoughts on the new JLs?

Saw a brand new one on the road already, A Rubicon, no less...
I think I like the JK better, but new models always take a while to grow on me.

Seems more poser to me. All terrains for the Rubicon? Really? AWD for the Sahara? Power sliding top? I miss the simple days of Wranglers.

Well I can definitely see and understand how the purists hated/hate the JK. The only reason we got a JK at the time (2008) was due to four doors. With a family, we didn't want any van. We also use our vehicles as they are intended, so the JK has seen it's share of off roading, scrapes and dents. My point is that I don't even like what the JK has become and the JL will be even worst! I don't like it, and I don't like what it will become. We also have a 2014 (not jeep) vehicle, and I hate, HATE! the technology in it, and it looks like the JL has too much of that too! Agree with all points HJ makes, So no, I do not like it.
