Jump AC Clutch

Well I have finally had enough of not having AC in my liberty. I have searched and mostly I see lots of posts about just jumping your AC clutch to see if that is the problem. None of these have detailed instructions on how to do so. If anybody has a write up, preferably with pictures also it would be greatly appreciated!

Look for the low pressure cutoff switch in the low side line and jump it out with a paper clip. Is the compressor comes on you'll need a charge or a low cutoff switch. If not you'll need a continuity meter to check the clutch.

There is two size AC lines in your truck. Look for the bigger of the two it is the low side line. follow it. Look for the two wire switch inline with the low side line...

Found this picture, so do i disconnect the switch and then use a paperclip in the 2 terminals??

So I found the low pressure switch (on top of the silver can) and with the engine running touched the terminals together with a paper clip. Nothing happened at all. Did I do it right or did i miss a step? Is there another way to do this?

Is power going to the clutch if it is and the clutch is not engaging it's a bad clutch and yes it will turn freely till the clutch is energized. Not that uncommon in KJs

Yep jump 12volt to the plug coming out of the coil pack on the clutch without it running the clutch should click in and out with 12volt on and off. Careful the pins on the plug are very close.

So, the clip that is directly on-top of the compressor? Would i do use like an alligator clip on each pin, and same to the battery?
