There must be something wrong with your seats, I'd take it in and have the dealer look at it. I'm over 300lbs., and have never felt bolts.

its always a hit or miss with the sport seats. Some love them, some hate them. Its all about how your body structure is, if you got big thighs, thats probably why your feeling the bolts. I suggest seeing if you can get ahold of some limited seats, they are a different design.

Apparently you did not read where he said he bought a Limited. And I have never had a problem with the Limited seats, and I drove the damn thing 700 miles straight shot to Chicago one night from DC without stopping. Unless you are fat or hypersensitive, the Limited seats are plenty comfortable. I am 6'4" 190 lbs and never feel a thing. Hell, I have issues with my Charger's leather seats in my lower back after like 400 miles if the lumbar is not just right, but not the Liberty, and they are comfortable as hell.

Had the truck in the local Jeep dealer's shop last night for the 30k service. They looked at the drivers seat and we found the foam in the right bolster to be irregular with a defined large ridge but they said it would not be covered under warranty cause the previous owner could have caused the foam to deform. Yeah right -- it's an 06 and the foam wears to produce a high hard ridge.

The service person passed me over to another and he came up to me later and said they found some 'seams comming apart' and took close-up photos to send to Jeep. I think he's trying to get the seat base replaced that way.

He said it would take 5 days to hear back from Jeep on the issue - is this right?

If this fails, I'll be finding an upholsterer to redo the seat base foam :-(

try taking it to another dealer, and don't tell them that you've already had it in for that issue before. that worked for me when I had my Ranger, don't know if it'd work or not, but might be worth a shot.
