They're very grippy, they really don't brake free unless you're trying to have fun. Since I've had them I've had to shift into 4WD once. The parking lot at the local ski hill is always icy or muddy or snowy and I used to have to shift into 4WD often in it, not so any more. Very impressed with them thus far and will be putting a set on the LR3 shortly.

I read some people said they get noisy at like 20-30k. Hoping to avoid that, my KJ historically has always worn tires evenly. Cool to hear on the longevity, did they still perform well towards the end? It'd take me like 7 or 8 years to hit 60-70k on these, so I'm guessing they'll need to be replaced due to age first.

Thanks!

Yeah they performed pretty decently at the end. I actually think I could have gotten more out of them but one punctured. So I figured it was time to upgrade (I had the lift and wheels already). They were still pretty tough to break free even in the rain. I off roaded fairly often too. Obviously new they were much better but I didn't have too many problems with them towards the end.

Update about 3000 miles in:

Snow and Ice performance is amazing. We had a long winter here (had snow till beginning of May almost, lots of freezing rain and ice too!) and these tires handled it perfectly. Hardly ever had to use 4WD. Only did just to exercise it.

Rain performance is great too. Pretty hard to break them free. Noise wise they are quiet, a bit of a hum in the 45ish range but not much louder than the car tires on my KL. Haven't had them off road other than some mild mud and tracks in the woods, they worked just fine.

I got a set of these and love them, before these I cut the heck outta my sidewalls, these are 10 ply sides, 14 tread or something like that, no issues and I am off road in the razor rocks a lot.....They grip great in the dirt/rocks even before air down, once down, my libby crawls like a goat on them rocks. I love these tires! I will be replacing them as I won a set of tires at an off road rally up to $800 in value, my choice, But the won tires will sit till these ware out.

Due for another update on these. Have about 8k on them now.
In July I took the KJ back to the Badlands and it's never done this good off road. I seriously can't recall spinning a tire. Aired down to 14PSI and no issues. Still doing great in the snow. Drive the KJ 80 miles a day on the highway and these tires feel great for that. Very satisfied still.

Did my late-night math wrong, they've been on for 18k and still look new.

40k update. Starting to notice they are not as grippy anymore in the snow and ice. Kind of loud at 35-45mph. They shut up for a few days if you rotate them. I did have a bad alignment for awhile, so maybe not their fault. Thinking about replacing them soon, just so it doesn't sound like an Apache helicopter.

how's the wear? I'm looking around for my next set of tires. I think I got about 50k with 5 tire rotation on my current tires.

I'll do some measurements today or tomorrow but I'd estimate I could probably get another 20k from these.

Officially ordered replacements. These will have about 55k on them when I take them off. They are loud as hell, grip is still decent. Not to the wear bars yet, but found a good deal on Toyo Open Country AT3s.
