Started watching a movie on my ROKU TV last night. CRAWL (2019) The movie was free because of Amazon Prime membership. I wasn't far at all into the movie when up popped a KJ !!! I perked up because I don't see many movies with KJ's and especially a movie released just last year.

I immediately recognized it as a KJ but something seemed a little "off" with it. Looked closer and I could be wrong but it looks like a 2002 Cherokee CRD (EU). Don't see an antenna on the fender, so guess it's in the back glass ... an EU giveaway. However, it does have "LIBERTY" badging on the doors ... (and a Florida Gators sticker on the back glass)

So I did some quick research on the movie "Crawl" and found the movie was made on a sound stage in Belgrade, Serbia. But exterior footage placing the story in Florida was shot in the Tampa Bay area. So the Jeep very well could be an EU KJ filmed in Serbia and also in Florida but all the other vehicles in the film appear to be U.S. made.

So what is the movie Crawl about? ... A young woman and her father are hunted by a pack of massive alligators, trapped in their Florida lake house as a Category 5 hurricane floods their property. The KJ isn't featured throughout the entire film but gets a good deal of footage until the young woman locates her father.

Her are some stills from the movie. The stills don't do the KJ justice. It looks MUCH better on the big screen. If you have Amazon Prime, check out CRAWL if for nothing but the KJ LOL ...

I actually noticed the kj on the movie poster in the theater, thought I posted it on here, but maybe didn't. I'll have to check out the movie, thanks for the reminder.

You may have posted it. Dunno. I didn't use the forum search function before posting. D'OH !!! ... figured there'd be a whole bunch of search returns to crawl through for a "CRAWL" search LOL

Going to move this to the video & sound clip section. This is where ads & movie topics & other related stuff is.

So, I started watching this movie last night. Didn't get to far in before I realized I'd already seen it... except the alligators were sharks.

It's always cool to catch a familiar ride in a movie, especially when it's reppin' for the Jeep crew. And even though it might not be featured throughout the whole flick, it still adds some flavor to the scenes, right?
As for the movie itself, Crawl is all about survival against some gnarly gators during a hurricane. It's got that intense, edge-of-your-seat vibe that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
But hey, if you're lookin' for some new movie recommendations, why not check out the best movies this year? There's bound to be some hidden gems that'll blow your mind.
