LED Turn Signals for 2005 Liberty

Hi, Guys...

I bought a set of LED's for my '05 KJ and have yet to install them due to the problem of rapid flashing without the use of a load resistor. I know that there is probably a way to alter my existing flasher to stop the rapid flash.

Does anyone have any idea how to make this happen with an '05 KJ? I REALLY want this to work without having to use the resistors.

I just got a set of LEDs myself. Looks like adding a load resistor is much easier than modifing the flasher. I havent picked up the resistor yet, so i have yet to install the LEDs.

Actually, the flasher comes apart rather easily (bought a spare on eBay). I'm hoping that someone has the schematics and can tell me which line to sever.

The flasher on the '05 KJ is built into the emergency flasher switch that's mounted in the dash. The one on your link is not the same. Thanks for the info though

I saw where you can wire a standard blub inside the roof panel or quarter panel to fool the flasher that there is a regular bulb there.

The problem is that the LED's take far less power to operate than a regular bulb and thus causing the flasher malfunction. I saw where a guy put a bulb inside his front fender and hid it so it would not show, but it worked to fool the flasher and thus not needing the new LED flasher.

doing some dead thread awakening here, but just curious as to what ohm and watt resistors you used Libertee. I got 4 sets of leds bulbs and want to make sure I get the right ones before I go on a resistor buying binge.

Can someone tell me which wires should I connect with load resistors for the rear blinkers? I don't wanna do the flasher mode so that's why I really need your help. Thank you

I believe you would want to hook it to the positive wire, no?

The harness for our taillights is not like regular Chrysler. All wires are going into a plug so I don't know which one is for the brake which one for the flasher and which one for the reverse. That's why I need your help guys. Thanks

Anyone guys? I need plz to know which wires from the back of the tail light harness is the positive and negative for the blinker. Thanks

So I took a test light and I found the negative e and positive. My problem now is I installed load resistors and the blinkers blinking fine no hyper flash when car low beams are off. If I turn the low beams or high beams on then the blinker start blinking hyper. Do you have any idea?
