But really if you consider dollar for dollar then the KJ is way ahead of any of those other toys............

but MSRP is exactly that...suggested.

buy a used disco, get it cheaper than a liberty. liberty's seem to hold value pretty well, and disco's are basically half their MSRP once off the stealership lot.

The new disco's are riddled with electrical and suspension problems ,and even though they may be better off road than a kj it doesnt count when your on the ramps at the dealership with a crowd of mechanics scratching their heads.

the disco III or named in the USA, LR3, are starting to show these issues, but they were designed as a bling bling rover, like the RR Sport. The Disco I and II (1995-2004) are still trucks, and though subject to issues, are very capable, and not hard to work on if you know what you are doing.

its an old 60's Buick engine

To bad you can't get the Defender90's here in the states anymore,they are wheeling machines! The one's that are already here are going for way to much(a good one will run $50,000+,new was under $30,000).They are to stubborn to put airbags in to sell here in the US.

cheers to that man, those things are tanks, but watch out for frame rust on those things...
