5-6 lift, no way unless you want a lawn ornament
JeepinByAl used to have kits that would do 6 inch but no longer
Plus when done right , even then, with the lift, steel front diff ( from jeepinbyal also ) for lower gears than 4.10s etc you would have 8,000 or so tied up
That kit you have listed does not even fit a KJ
Nor do they make one for a KJ , well they do , it is spacer lift , which in no way is what you want if you are going to want to drive it, and enjoy driving it
OME 927/948 springs and either the correct Bilstein or OME shocks is what most use
2.5 inches easy enough can go to 3/3.25 but would need JBA UCAs

I'm trying to imagine at even 4 inches how much additional stress may get placed on the front lower ball joints.
Front & rear off road drive line angles then become a major concern as well.

Yeah NO. That lift kit isn't even for a KJ. And you also cannot lift these vehicles above 3.5".

Heh, whole lotta nope in that idea. OME lifts are the only full service option for KJs.

At one point iron man was a reasonable option, but cost near as much as ome, but not quite as good. At least that's what I've heard.
My 04 has over 120,000 miles at 4.5 inches
Of course JBA adjustable coilover lift but it can be done
Or could, glad I ended up with two of the kits
With what we have available today I like to stick to 2.5-3 inches, that way no spring/UCA contact ever, enough room for a little bigger tire

That's more of what I meant, now-a-days in 2021 lift options for this vehicle are becoming slimmer and slimmer.

Would you be able to give me the part numbers and websites I can use to purchase the lift part?
All I've been able to find are "Rough Country, and Skyjacker kits". I don't not want either.

I got no problem spending more I have a $4k Budget. I have 31" tires and 16x8 rims already. Just need a decent lift.
4K wouldn't pay 2/3 of what the 6 inch cost when they were selling them
Stick with OME 927/948 combo at 3 inches of lift and the correct shocks then be happy
Use the extra to regear one of the best things you can do when running larger tires
6 inch lift was over 6000
stell front diff to run lower gears than 4.10s was over 2500 with gears etc, plus you'd need to install the rears
then tires and wheels and other items
What lift do you have now ?
I don't have one, I'm trying to find one that is a good one. I don't need it to be 6", I'm cool with a 3-4". I just need part numbers and such. I wanna make sure I have a good lift. I've heard so many bad things about Rough Country and Skyjacker.
If you can tell me, what parts I'll need for my front and back suspension?
I'll buy those and go with it from there.

Forget that link above, lot of information is old, no longer available etc
For a 2.5 inch lift use OME springs, 927 front, 948 rear
For front shocks use whatever is listed for the front from OME or Bilstein
For the rear use OME 132Ls or Bilstien , 99-04 Dodge Dakota 4x4 club cab works and the right length when lifted
Teraflex front bumpstops , then use 2 per side hockey pucks bolted down to lower spring perch ( unless you are not using the right width and backspaced wheels )
NOW if you want three inches you can lift the front shocks 3/8 of an inch up out of the clevis
For the rear one extra upper isolator
Then a great upgrade are the jeepinbyal upper control arms
for tires run 245-75-16s / 265-70-16s on the right wheels etc
If going bigger tires , regear to 4.10s , well worth it in the long run

Not sure if they're still available but you can also add a 1/4 inch to plate spacer on top of the coilover assembly up front and one more isolator out back for a total of 3 on top of rear spring to get an additional 1/2 inch to what's listed above. As far as I know that's pretty maxed out, anything more and your just causing problems.
At that height you would get some coil spring/ UCA contact on larger bumps in the road even with JBA UCAs or most do

I do indeed, but just a bit. I put some fuel hose on the coil it contacts for the noise and as protection. Probably best to just run a half inch shorter, but it's where I ended up and it works for me.
Sorry for the necro bump, but I just wanted to make sure I understood Tommud correctly . For a 3 inch lift, for the front. Get OME 2927 and ome front shock as listed? I am not a100% sure what else I need. Thanks jw
