I want to lift my '10 Liberty and put bigger tires on. Not looking to do any serious or major off-roading here just the here and there weekend dirt path and pavement driving.

My current set up:
- stock height
- 225/70/16 Discover A/T 3's
- brand new rear and front shocks

I would like to put the spare 265/75/16 A/T's I have on.

What would I have to do to fit those tires on?
I.E.- lift size, gearing, etc.

THANKS!!!

On a 2007-under Liberty to be safe probably 3.25" of lift at least( once settled), 4.10 gears if you don't want to lose power and gas mileage
Pound the pinch welds and you'd be good but I'm not sure about 2008+

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully someone knows what's best. Was thinking about possibly going with the 4.10

For 265-75-16s you'll need 3.75 (at least) to 4 inches of lift
I prefer 4 inches when someone wants to run a 32 inch tall tire
JeepinByAl is a great site
The brand new front and rear shocks you can toss since you will want new OME or Bilsteins with the new OME springs
Of course at that height you will need new jeepinbyal upper control arms as well
Also 4.10s is minimum with 32s I'd do 4.56s since on a KK you can go that low.
If you're serious we can give you numbers
Another option for a really great ride is the JBA coilovers

On the 08-12 you have some other issues that we don't have with the KJs .
Need the longer arms for the rear sway bar, when at that height the stock are too short and actually hold the rear down

Ideally I would LIKE 2500 but realistically with what you've told me it would be more like 3500-4000 I guess.

Looking for everything I would need to make the 32's fit. Might as well do it right the first time and not have to replace anything.

If it's not too much to ask I guess everything for a 4" lift and a 2.5" lift just for options or comparison :D

Thanks for all the input!

Hey BigB64 just joined the site and was reading the thread and was wondering how much of a price where you quoted because I want to do the exact same thing to my 2009 Liberty and would love to know how much I'm looking at. Thanks

I'm running 32s on an 03 with 4" of lift. I would NOT suggest 32s with less than 4". You will rub bad.

Front was about $2000, rear was $450, and Tires $950.

Next up is 4.10 gears. It's drivable but you feel like a sloth.

So if you want to do it right expect to spend 3500-4000 in parts.

It's a bit easier to fit larger tires on a KK than it is a KJ, since you don't have the rubbing issues as bad. I could fit 32s on my KK as it sits now at 3", the only thing that keeps me from doing so is gearing.
