I am planning on getting the OME lift from JBA but I was wondering if this kit makes your liberty sit level or if there is some tips and tricks to get it to sit level after the fact? Thanks.

First how much lift do you want ?
We can then tell you what you need

I'm trying to achieve 2.5"

Easy then
OME full lift with 927 and 948 springs ( comes with 4 shocks/ 4 springs)
add in front teraflex bumpstops , 2 hockey pucks per side bolted down to the lower spring perch and DONE!!
Advertised as 1.5 but with those springs gives 2.5 inches, done a lot with that setup

Where do i find this? And I assume these are for the rear as bump stops?

Hockey Pucks, like they use for playing hockey, solid rubber pucks, work great and are cheaper than anything else out there
and yes bolt them to the lower spring pad
drill hole , install spring, slip the pucks through the coils, bolt down
3/8 inch bolt , 2.25-2.5 inches long

I wonder, are all brands of pucks equal? I imagine they are all made of similar stuff, but maybe cheaper ones tend to crack versus better ones... or are all equal?

Should be all the same, not some harder or anything, all specs would be equal

Hello,
I am French and I want to install a kit for my KJ 3.7 2002.

Your solution matches the kit proposed by JBA:
OME 1.50" lift kit KJ

If I understand, you have to add more:
- 2 bumps stop Teraflex on front
- 2 spring plate on back

Do I have to replace the A-ARM by JBA models?
Should we add or change other parts?

Thanks for your help.

If going over 3.25 inches then yes I suggest the JBA UCAs

OK, So for OME kit proposed by JBA (see 1.5 "but can make 2.5"), it is not necessary to use the A-ARM JBA.

Is the 2002 KJ no higher than the latest versions?

Do you think a shop would look at me weird for asking them to put these pucks in there for bumpstops? :happy175: I do not have the tools (or really time and experience) to do this project myself so a shop is the next option.

If they do, find another shop.

A bumpstop is a bumpstop - whether it's hockey pucks or some fancy, expensive product specifically made for the purpose. Hockey pucks are made to be smashed around on cold ice, up against the boards, ricochet off metal goals, get hit with carbon fiber hockey sticks. I think being used as bumpstops is well within their range of abuse :happy175:

Whatever you use for a rear bumpstop you have to drill a hole to mount it.
So that would not be anything extra and IMO its even easier to install the hockey pucks

IF built before April 12, 2002 they were 3/4 of an inch taller
OF COURSE after all of these years no difference
BUT OME is advertised at 1.5 inches but actually gives you 2.5 inches if using the 927/948 combo
Of course you can add more real easy up to 3.5 inches but would need the JBA UCAs

So this gives 2.5", can I safely bump it up to 3 without my A-arms being a problem?

You can but when getting alignment it will be getting close to max
I installed JBA UCAs at 2.5 inches and no issues aligning it but great upgrade
