I saw one somewhere - it was some dood in Brazil or something. Looked OK. I'll see if I can find a pic later on. There was a thread on here about it.

I am planning to paint mine a dark gray/gunmetal type color this summer. I don't like the black look on most vehicles, but think mine would look nice darker than they are.

Tried to PS the pic but since there wasn't much light in the picture it ended up without enough contrast to see the difference between the black wheels and the dark open areas... Looks neat though... And yes i was bored... LOL

The Hammered paint works good, just got to make sure its clean, sounds like you did a good job on the prep.

Just remember to paint in a ventilated area so you don't end up hammered yourself... LMAO

I'm about to start painting my chrome capped Limited wheels a Graphite color from DupliColor's Wheel Coating line. It is great stuff.

If everything else is already black, then go with black. Graphite will look a little odd on a fully black vehicle in my opinion.

Here you go...

Painted My Chrome Clad Limited Wheels

They have been painted for a couple of months now, but they have been on the Jeep for about three weeks. They are holding up extremely well. It is all in the prep work though. If you properly clean them, sand them and use a good primer/adhesion promoter, the paint will be pretty strong. Use good, even, light coats and then a good wet coat to finish.

Those look great.

Got any pictures of those on after you painted?

What is the official name of the color?

Anyone got pictures of their painted rims after six or so months and some wheeling?
