build up. 2 skids, rails, rear bumper, and either rims and tires or spacers and tires.

What 2 skids
I know on the TJ with a Tummy Tuck and an auto you need a trans skid
which the pre '03's did not come with stock
I also know that that you need a steering box skid ,well after you get lockers and discover that if your bumper clears it you can climb it
I thought the JK's came with all that?
But bone stock the TJ came with all you needed
do they now offer a "poser" model with no skids to cut costs?

evap canister is near the drivers side rear tire but its plastic and gets ripped off easily. there is no skid for the oil pan either.

No wrangler ever came with an oil pan skid
the TJ is protected by the front diff fairly well
is the one on the JK that exposed or is it a novelty item
kind of like a diff skid or LCA skid?

its definitely a concern until i got the lift. but for the trails here i wont need it.
i have seen some people barely hit theirs and it puncture, and some run the rubicon and no leaks. i would rather not take the chance

It's just a ploy to get the ***** mall crawlers with deep pockets to pay out the nose for a fancy welded up 3/8" thick steel pan because they're gonna need it on those parking blocks :)

Ive had four trucks with dual ARB's. They're the best way to go. Really strong carriers and of course the ability to turn them off. I actually liked the challenge of wheeling open and turning them on when I needed them.

people who become very skilled at changing parts that they broke
I have seen people snap the shaft on a dana 35 with a 4 ******
open diff's and 30's
yet I have seen people with 4.0's ,4.56 gears, 33's and a Detroit in a 35
do some wheelin
less wheel spin = less chance to break something

Zero chance of axle breakage if you use some of the worst tires made...SRA's. They act like a fuse:D

That's how driveshafts, front axle u-joints,and axles get broken.

Only if you pop the clutch while climbing rocks with one wheel up in the air. It's only people who don't know how to drive a stick that have issues. I don't concider being able to drive down the highway as being able to drive a stick. Ask anyone who spent more then five years driving stick and wheeled with a stick if they think they would have issues while wheeling.

most people cant drive anyway. when they get off road you can really see that when they freak out, floor it, and break something.
