So as it is, I got the rear done on my 04KJ and WOW!! I look like one of those 70's hot wheels cars, you know all high in the rear and low in the front! LOL

I could only do one end of the KJ at a time and now I am wishing I wait till I could do both ends, I even had to adjust my mirrors! My rear is at about 22", while the front is 18", both about center cap to edge of flare...

I did OME HD coil Springs 948 I believe was the number with a set of HD Club cab dakota shocks that is posted on here, I did one iso top and bottom, 2 pucks and looks wonderful....in the rear.

I bought all the parts and Brake masters (Who worked one my KJ since day one) installed all about (except shocks I did those last week) for just over hundred bucks, now that is a deal!

SO now I am starting to shop for my OME springs and Bilstein struts for the front....

Where did you buy them from? They are 105 each on JBA.....

Jim
4wheelparts, I priced everything to change my axles over to 4:10's and it was over $1000 on jba and 4wheelparts was $775 and that included the outer bearings and seals for the rear so both front and rear differential will be rebuilt with new gears.

And I bought the kit front and rear and all together, didn't look at individual prices. Probably cheaper than Al though

most places are close to the same on lift prices, not that much markup. Plus really only a couple of places supply all dealers in the US with the OME/ARB product line

I had the opposite look going last saturday. Had the front all swapped over and had to do the rear. Instead of a hot wheels i looked like a smuggler. I have the same bilstein ome setup your going for rides great. You wont be disappointed.

Well just an update, got the front done and she looks great but dont really care about the looks as much as performance so went out on a couple trails for a few hours and man oh man, I wish I did this long ago! Really can feel/tell the difference, Tom is 100% correct when he says OME/Bilstein is the way to go for our Libbys!! (Thanks Tom).

Awesome,

Jim
